Fibre Channel and IP Over DWDM or Dark Fiber

LightSand gateways provide the highest possible performance in moving data from one site to another. In conjunction with a DWDM infrastructure a single OC-48 blade can be used to move up to 290 MBytes/sec of data at distances up to 2000 Km, without performance degradation.

In addition, LightSand gateways can be configured to light a dark fiber up to 80 Km with no additional equipment.
