The Virtual Fabrics feature augments the proven security, enabling organizations to create logical groups of separately managed devices, ports, and switches within a physical SAN.
LightSand's challenge was to interconnect both SANs (customer and IBM BCRS data center) without Merge (Virtual SANs) allowing however the interconnectivity of various devices on both sides to fully support the connectivity solution designed by IBM.
